Senior R&D Engineer: Guided Delivery Systems is seeking senior engineers to join its excellent R&D team. A Senior Engineer would work on a team responsible for the design, development, execution and implementation of cardiac implantable medical devices.
Key skills include catheter design experience, ability to work cross-functionally with clinical teams, understanding of design control procedures and system based failure and risk analysis. Experience should include 4+ years of work in medical device development.
Position requires knowledge of implantable materials, implant fatigue properties/testing and in vitro test methods of implantable materials; nitinol experience is a plus. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects with a strong problem solving ability.
Education: Bachelors degree in related field of engineering required. Advanced engineering degree a plus.
